I’d have to say this year is flying by…With 60 degree weather and a snow day in the same week, this Midwest climate has definitely kept us guessing lately! Even though it’s been pretty cold, the sun has been shining enough to keep me in great spirits. Just like the weather, this semester has been ever changing for me already. From extracurricular activities to my major, it seems that I alter my plans daily. I’ve been exploring lots of different service opportunities offered here on campus, through the Freshman Leadership Program, the Creighton Center for Service and Justice, and some other unexpected avenues. This semester has began is already proving itself to be my most difficult semester to date. This past Saturday I took the LSAT. It took 5 and a half of the most stressed filled hours of my life.  I have been studying for it for the past 4 months and have been trying to squeeze as much studying in for it as possible since school started.  My classes began with a bang with 500 pages of reading before the semester even began and they have not let up since, but I am enjoying them all. 

My most interesting classes would have to be the combination of Macroeconomics, Business Ethics, and Global Poverty and Development.  The Global Poverty and Development shows the impact of decisions made by governments and multinational corporations on the micro-level rural villages around the world.  It really paint ... Lianna Ngi could have taken the liberty to use my friday off (can you say, snow day???) to write this blog but being the typical college student that i am, of course i didnt. this friday omaha had a ridiculous out pouring of snow which let to the closure of the school (potentially the first and last of the winter season). i took the liberty of taking off work from my job out west (no way i was going to attempt the interstate) and thus taking my first friday off since july. boy did that feel nice. i took the time to relax, catch up on some episodes of the Office ive just been too busy to watch, and hangout in my house while watching those bg fluffy flakes stick to my window. i did manage to make it back to school for a quick workout and noticed that many of the creighton students were taking some time outside to play i ... Liana Nghi again!

well its the start of second semester and a chance to start fresh with classes and activities. Omaha has been suffering from a cold cold winter this year but this past week has been clearing up a little. i'm enjoying walking to school and bundling up to go outside. err, at least kinda enjoying it. for you prospective sudents, the hard work should be mostly over. applications in, and now what? maybe plans to visit the campus, or logging on to our chats we have frequently to talk live with admissions reps and current students. you'll often find me there. there are so many ways to get your questions answered and everyone is happy to help.
