Creighton alumna with Pres. Barack ObamaCreighton University now has an ambassador within the highest office in the land.

While Katie Bradley might not be representing CU directly as deputy associate director in the Office of Management and Administration, she certainly reflects well on her alma mater in her role at the White House.

Katie joined the Obama administration when it was the Obama campaign. After graduating in 2007, the journalism major moved to Des Moines to volunteer. Soon she had a paying job with the campaign.

Today, Katie's White House job is basically that of an office manager. Her first day involved equipping incoming staffers with the essential office gear of the 21st century--laptops and Blackberries. (Is it ironic to say she's an office manager in the Office of Management and Administration?)

Read more about Katie in the Omaha World Herald story from January 26, 2009.
