September and August 2009 Recaps---or Attempts to Recap!

So last month was September...apparently! Time flew by as school started the last few weeks of August, September happened, and here were are in October.

August started out with me getting back to campus around the 17th to get settled into my new living arrangement for the year. This year I am a junior and living in the Opus Apartments--which are very nice! As mentioned on my Face page, I am a Campus Health Aide for Student Health (1 of 4) and with the position came the responsibility of having to be on campus over a week before classes even started. This was to make sure that we would be reoriented to Residence Life as well as being ready for the freshman the minute they got there (in the case that they needed any medical attention while student health was closed).

August was also composed of getting books, school supplies, and myself ready for the new school year. Before I knew it, September was here!

In September classes were already feeling familiar and I had finished almost all of my catching up with old friends and professors. September was a month of organizing-getting a calendar put together for the whole semester and so forth. I also started my clinical rotations as my third year in nursing school and had a blast. We did health screenings a several local schools and got to learn a lot! My sorority also started up again and even had a date dance. I was very busy in September, but had a lot of fun--especially with the warmer weather!
