International Relations/Public Relations major (2010) from Phoenix, Arizona

Relating to individuals of all walks of life is necessary for me to achieve my career goal of public diplomacy. As an International Relations and Public Relations major, I know it’s good for me to take risks and have experiences that take me out of my norm. Moving from Arizona to Omaha, then becoming President of the International Relations Club, and now working as an intern with small-business farmers has definitely stretched my horizons. I have interacted with all kinds of people from different cultures and environments and with different viewpoints than my own.

I have traveled to Canada, Mexico, and Amsterdam, where I really bonded with my Creighton peers and other students from all over the world. My Creighton experiences are helping me build the skills I will need to continue my education and become a public diplomat.
