Rev. Don Doll, S.J.
Award-winning photographer and Photojournalism Professor

I am able to develop relationships with [students] through photography—both their work and my own.
I am very proud to have been a part of the Creighton community for more than 40 years, and to have a direct hand in developing the footprint of our campus. At the same time, I've been able to develop my real passion, which is photography.
I love seeing the world through the lens of a camera, finding ways to relate with refugees in Chad, the citizens of Alaska and Native Americans on reservations closer to home. The knowledge, skills and experience I have gained through these experiences are another means for me to relate to the students I teach. I am able to develop relationships with them through photography—both their work and my own.
It is a true gift to contribute to their personal and professional development in an environment that fosters diversity of thought and learning. And, at the end of the day, that is our mission here at Creighton.
