I love being a part of the process of helping students achieve their goals. The change that occurs in them as they progress and grow is amazing. And now, with the NEXUS Program—an internship program at non-profit agencies—Arts and Sciences students have many more options to obtain real-world experiences, just like their counterparts in the business school.
The students here make my job so much easier because employers love them. Their work ethic, attitude, knowledge, critical thinking skills, and dedication really set them apart from other interns and employees. Time and time again I am asked by recruiters if there are any more students available to fill positions.
I look forward to developing these relationships with students, faculty, employers, and recruiters and seeing how much more Creighton students can accomplish.
