Assistant Professor of Nursing

The great thing about Creighton is that it holds high standards for the faculty while remaining highly focused on the academic and personal development of the students.
I like to say that Creighton is a family affair for my family. We seem to all have some form of connection to Creighton and my personal connection with the community began as a nursing student. I will never forget my first day of clinical rotations, making sure I had everything I needed ready for that first day in the hospital. Now, as an Assistant Professor of Nursing, I get to experience that first day all over again with my students as I teach their clinical rotations. I am especially excited when I see former students in action while teaching at the hospital.
The great thing about Creighton is that it holds high standards for the faculty while remaining highly focused on the academic and personal development of the students. This philosophy mirrors my own values and my professional goals as a nurse and an educator. The strong reputation both locally and nationally of the University and the School of Nursing opens up great opportunities for students and faculty.
