Marketing & History major (2010) from Blair, Nebraska

I chose Creighton because of its reputation for academic excellence and the opportunities to get involved here.

I started in the Freshman Leadership Program. Then, I became a Mentor and Mentor Executive. I also got involved in the Cortina Community, which is a living-learning faith community and I am a Summer Preview Leader, Welcome Week Leader, and Chair of Intramurals for my fraternity.

The faculty and students I’ve worked and lived with in these roles are amazing. They challenge me to be better, to try harder and to accomplish more. There is something about the work ethic and need to do more here that is really inspirational and has driven me to become better at everything I do. That is what is so compelling here at Creighton—we all push each other to go beyond what we thought we could do and that is amazing.
