They knew immediately that I would be “clinical ready” because of my academic background at Creighton . . .

The Creighton connection has already helped me to become a better nurse and I’m only two years into nursing school! While applying for my summer internship at Stanford, I found out that reputation really does count. It is funny because every time I met with the faculty and staff at Stanford, they always talked about what a great school Creighton is and about the amazing medical school here. Needless to say, I was hired for the research position in the Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Department. They knew immediately that I would be “clinical ready” because of my academic background at Creighton and the fact that I have been a student health aide here on campus.

I love the fast pace of the nursing program. It is just the kind of experience I was looking for. Taking eighteen credit hours, being active on campus, including my student health aide job, and the thoughtful advising here have all really helped me learn to manage my time and my ability to maximize my efficiency and effectiveness.
