Law School for Married Couples?

I was hoping I might ask a few questions here to anyone in the Law Program at CU.  My husband and I attended the open house today, and left with many questions that I'm hoping we may get answered here.

We are both currently in school pursuing our bachelor's degrees.  We've been married 9 years and have 3 children.  Our expected graduation date is 2012 (possibly sooner if we double up on our course loads).

I guess what I'm curious about, is if anyone currently at CU is in a similar situation?  How did you both handle going to law school at the same time?  How rough was the first year, and not being able to work (yet still having normal financial obligations?)  How did your children handle it?  Did you have time to be involved in student organizations and extracurriculars as well?  I guess I have many questions about personal things as well.  I'd love to meet with someone (or a couple) who has been in this situation before.  Thanks in advance for any information presented here!
