    NACAC's Guide for Parents in the College Admissions Process (.pdf download) describes the different kinds of higher educational institutions you might consider and answers some frequently asked questions about colleges and financial aid.

    Peterson's College Planner: Parent Edition features advice on getting started, preparing for tests, finding the right program and paying for school

    College Parents of America's Parent Resource Center describes how to establish a college savings plan, find and apply to a college and pick a summer camp or job in the meantime.

    Jobweb's Career Library > Parents contains links to career planning for incoming students and their parents, including "10 Tips for Parents of Prospective Students."

    U.S. Department of Education's Parent Resource Center has a set of links under "College for My Child" that includes information about getting ready for, finding, applying to and paying for college.
