How did you hear about Creighton?
Well, I am from Bogota, Colombia, so I started visiting a lot of college fairs because I wanted to study abroad, and I one of them I met David McCauley, the Director of International Admissions at Creighton University. He started giving me information about Creighton and I really liked it, so I decided to come here.
How has your experience at Creighton been so far?
I love it. Seriously, I am so glad that I came here. The experience that I have had, I mean like, I have met wonderful people, the teachers are great, I have learned a lot in the classes. I think it is a great experience to be here.
What do you like the most about Creighton?
Well, there are a lot of things that I like. I like the fact that it is a small university, so you can have like a close relationship to your classmates and also to your teachers.
What are your favorite activities at Creighton?
I like to participate a lot. I mean, there are a lot of opportunities for you to get involved and so for example I became a member of a sorority so we do a lot of philanthropy events to help the community which is really great.
What do you think about Omaha?
I like it. It is a small city, so it is not stressful, you have a relaxing life, and you can go to places and feel safe, and just have fun. It is great.
What are your thoughts about the international community here at Creighton?
I think that it is very good. We are not a lot so we are close together and we help each other. And I know that if I need something or anyone needs something just can come and talk to me.
Has your family visited Creighton?
Yes. As a matter of fact my mom and dad came with me the first time I visited Creighton, and my mom has been here the whole semester studying English, and it is a great opportunity for parents to come here and get to know Creighton.
