Yes, Creighton does have TOEFL requirements. The minimum is 550 on the paper exam and 80 on the iBT.
Freshman international students may be eligible to receive the Matteo Ricci need and academic scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 USD per year, renewable for four years. Students interested in competing for these scholarships must apply on or before March 1. Need-based Financial Awards are also available to International Students who:
- Demonstrate financial need on the Creighton Certification of Available Finances.
- Present official documentation of previous year household income and accrued family assets.
- Present an official bank statement signed by a bank official, on bank letterhead, indicating the date the account was opened, average balance and current balance. Date of issue must be within 3 months of the date we receive your application.

Yes, all full-time, unmarried, undergraduate students from outside the immediate Omaha area are required to live in University residence halls during their first two years at Creighton. Living on campus makes it much easier to make friends and get involved in student activities than living off campus.
Yes, we do require all international students to enroll in a health insurance plan by Creighton University to ensure coverage of students.
