How I learned about Creighton: I spent two last years of high school in IB program offered by Riverstone International School in Boise, Idaho. By the end of my junior year I decided to go to university in the United States. Since at that point of time I held particular interest in medical career, I searched for the best natural science and pre-medical universities. This is how I first discovered Creighton.
Then, with a great assistance of Creighton admission team, I learned enough to upgrade Creighton to my first-choice university in the list of schools that I was accepted to. The campus visit added an impression of beautiful and relatively compact campus to my image of Creighton.
As a freshman, I am still researching the opportunities at Creighton. So far I enjoyed various social activities, challenging classes and multicultural affairs.
What surprised me most about Creighton: I was pleasantly surprised with a great balance of liberal and conservative views delivered by students as well as faculty. Also, I found that Creighton University managed to bring the concept of diversity to the new level.
Cultural diversity is desired and achieved in many institutions, but the diversity of political and religious views is truly presented in very few communities. The community of Creighton University amazes me with its respect to the individuals? values.
