My Creighton Experience: After being enrolled in the IELI program for a while, I got used to being an IELI student. I wanted to be more involved in this wonderful University. So I applied to be enrolled in an undergraduate class and begin my major in Human Resources Management.  Becoming a Creighton student is fulfilling my dream of studying in a prestigious University in the United States of America.

Surprise fact about Creighton: Something that I did not expect from Creighton is that the professors are always willing to help students in understanding the subject matter. The first subject that I was able to take was Anthropology. In the beginning, I struggled a little bit with note-taking and understanding the lectures. However, having an understanding and patient professor was a great help. She not only helped me correct my notes after class, but she also inspired me to learn more about my culture and about other cultures by adopting a detached perspective. I have been studying hard to understand how our contemporary cultures and societies work, and how they became the way they are.

Omaha, Nebraska: My sojourn in Omaha is the best experience that I have had in my life because of the friendly people that are always eager to help foreigners in adjusting to the American culture.
