Concerts & Events
From the Homecoming Week competition's golf cart parade to Wednesdays After Class and making tie dye shirts, there is always something to do on campus! Fallapalooza and Spring Fling are the two major concert events each year. In the past we have seen acts like Bush, The Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Folds, Cake, the Black Eyed Peas and O.A.R. grace the stage on Creighton's campus.
Wednesdays After Class, or WAC, is one of CSU Program Board's most popular activities. For many students, WAC is a fun diversion from the rush of everyday life and helps get them through the rest of the week. This year, there will be a WAC every week, rain or shine, from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. on the Mall or in the Skutt Student Center at the Fireplace Lounge. For more information check out Creighton Students Union.
Along with these events sponsored by CSU, the Inter Residence Hall Government sponsors many events throughout the school year. Christmas at Creighton being by far the most popular, they also organize The Price is Right and Lil' Jays Weekend. For more information check out Inter Residence Hall Government.

Omaha offers so much to do off campus, from visiting the Old Market for dinner to going to the CenturyLink Center to see your favorite band in concert, the opportunities are endless. Omaha's own Saddle Creek Records just built a new music venue near campus called Slowdown which will spotlight local bands as well as bands from all over the country.
The Henry Doorly Zoo is one of Omaha's biggest attractions. With the Scott Aquarium, Lied Jungle, and the newly added Desert Dome, the zoo is a great place to visit with your family or friends.
