Admission Requirements for All Applicants
To be considered for admission to Creighton, please submit the materials listed below. Students who apply are automatically considered for general merit-based scholarships. To receive priority consideration for scholarships, submit the Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions by the deadline December 1, 2017.
Your official high school transcript, including the scale on which you were graded, sent directly from your high school.
Your ACT exam scores (sent to Creighton via our ACT school code, 2444) or SAT exam scores (sent via our SAT school code, 6121), writing portion not required.
A high school guidance counselor evaluation.
Essay or Personal Statement. A chance to demonstrate your writing potential while allowing the Admissions Committee to get to know you better. If you are completing the Common Application, you do not need an additional personal statement or essay, simply use the one included in the Common Application.
Optional: your resume, and/or letters of recommendation written by one of your teachers, coaches, counselors, or mentors, attesting to your academic and social preparedness to study at Creighton.

We encourage you to challenge yourself with a solid curriculum that expands your academic skills. You will also enhance your application by participating in Advanced Placement courses, the International Baccalaureate Program, and honors programs.

*Students attending high school in a state that does not require foreign language can be exempt from the 2 unit foreign language requirement. Students exempt from the high school requirement will still be required to fulfill the minimum foreign language requirement as established in Creighton’s Magis Core curriculum.
