“Love-driven leaders seek out and honor the potential in self and others. Heroic leaders seek to shape the future rather than passively endure whatever unfolds. And ingenuity-driven leaders uncover ways to turn human potential into achievement and a vision of the future into a reality.” -Chris Lowney

Do you have any special advice or tips for applicants? High school can be a very stressful time. Enjoy your high school years. Choose courses that interest you. Challenge yourself, but do not sacrifice a balanced life or sleep. Take time to explore the gifts and talents God has given you.

What do you like about Omaha and what are your favorite secret spots? I love Omaha! I grew up in Sacramento and moved to Omaha to go to Creighton and stayed there for 12 years before moving back to the Sacramento area. The people of Omaha are what make it such a special place. They are genuine, caring, hard-working, and humble. One of my favorite spots to relax, play kickball, run, or just hang out is Memorial Park.

Why do I think Creighton is so special?  When students come to Creighton, they are joining a family. Creighton is the only Jesuit university named after a family and this family tradition holds strong today. Students do not fall through the cracks because our Jesuit Charism guides every aspect of the school. Students have tremendous opportunities to explore and develop their talents in the areas of leadership, scholarship, and service. When students and their families join the Creighton family, their lives will forever be changed for the better.
