"What I love most about Creighton is easily the sense of community that has been established here. Walking around campus is comparable to walking through a small town or neighborhood. Everyone seems to know each other. I felt welcomed and at home right away. It’s not easy to replicate that feeling but it happened day one at Creighton for me."

Do you have any special advice or tips for applicants? Your college experience is what you make of it. You have the freedom to make it what you want it to be. Get involved, meet new people, and take time to enjoy where you are. College is the time to work on establishing yourself as a person. Creighton helps to do that by providing ways to focus on mind, body and spirit. Make good use of the time you are given.

Fun fact about yourself: The day I was born, the number one song on the charts was “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses. Very fitting.

What do you like about Omaha and what are your favorite secret spots? Like Creighton, Omaha has a great community feel. There are neighborhoods around town that have become fun places for young people to go for a great social experience. They’re not exactly a secret but Midtown and Blackstone are not far from Creighton’s campus. I love Chicago-style deep dish pizza and the best place in town for deep dish is Pizzeria Davlo on 144th and Fort. It’s a bit of a jaunt for Creighton Students but totally worth it.
