Discover What Creighton is All About.

Experience Creighton

The best way to find out if Creighton is right for you is to see for yourself. Take a tour of our campus. Meet your future professors and hang out with your future classmates. You can even see Creighton in real time via one of our many campus web cams or get a sneak peek with this aerial video of campus!

Receive Personalized Attention

We build your campus visit around you — your academic and extracurricular interests, your wishes and needs. Interested in the health sciences? We can show you our labs and introduce you to Creighton researchers. Interested in the performing arts? We’ll get you backstage passes to a Creighton show. Not sure which visit option is best for you? Explore the differences between visit formats.

Our doors are always open. Stop by and see why you belong at Creighton.

Visiting Options

Daily Campus Visits

This is our most popular and customizable type of campus visit, available almost any weekday of the year. Learn more about Creighton from an admissions counselor, explore your academic and extracurricular interests, and tour the campus. Please give us two weeks notice to confirm your visit and send a confirmation notice back to you. Schedule your visit today!

A typical campus visit, which includes a session with admissions and a campus tour, lasts 2-3 hours. If you have requested any additional appointments during your visit, please allow an additional 30-60 minutes per appointment.

While weekday campus visits are the only way to receive a personalized admissions appointment, we do offer an Admissions Presentation on select Saturday mornings during the academic school year at 10:00 am.  After the approximately hour-long presentation, our students will provide you with a campus tour and invite you to join them for lunch in our dining hall.

Summer Events

Off-Campus Interviews

If you are a rising senior, we encourage you to sign up for a Creighton interview near you. Each summer, our admissions counselors travel the country to learn more about you: your next steps, your college plans and what you hope to do after. These informal conversations are ideal for learning about Creighton.

These interviews are open to rising seniors only.

CU in the Summer

Our CU in the Summer program gives high school students the opportunity to visit Omaha during the most relaxed time of year: June through early August. Visit us, learn about us, and enjoy outdoor fun in Omaha — from the College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park just off campus to music events, including Jazz on the Green and the Maha Music Festival.

There are two registration options for CU in the Summer:

  • Option 1 includes an admissions presentation and a tour of campus.
  • Option 2 includes an admissions presentation, a tour of campus, and two academic breakout sessions.

See the tentative agenda for planning purposes.

*Please note, due to the College World Series happening in Omaha during this time, hotel availability may be limited and at a higher price than usual.*

Summer Preview

This visit is for students who have made their deposit and will be enrolling in the fall. Meet your fellow Bluejays in this two-day summer orientation program. Summer Preview takes place throughout June.

Summer Send-Off

Creighton alumni and parents across the country are hosting New Student Send-off Events for you and your student. At these receptions, incoming students and their parents will enjoy a chance to mingle with other current and future members of the Creighton family.

Group Visits

Creighton University welcomes chaperoned groups of high school students to visit our campus. We are happy to arrange group visits for high school students from high schools, college access, and community-based organizations. Group visits are designed for a group size minimum of 15 and maximum of 50 students.

Learn more and schedule your Group Visit here.

Creighton Mall Renovation

First, let’s make sure we’re on the same page about what we mean by mall. We’re not talking about a shopping center. The mall is the main brick pathway that stretches through Creighton’s campus. We’re in the process of updating the brick to keep the same collegiate feel we’ve loved for years.

Why do you need to know this as a visitor? It’s really just a heads up. You’ll still park in the visitor’s lot directly south of the Harper Center/Heider College of Business. You will still be able to access the building from the main entrance. Your tour will take a slightly different route, but you were probably trusting them to lead the way regardless. We can’t wait to show off campus, including all of our new updates!
