Group Visits

Group Visits

St. Ignatious Statue

Creighton University welcomes chaperoned groups of high school students, college access programs, and community-based organizations to visit our campus during the fall and spring semesters.  Group visits are designed for a group size minimum of 15 and maximum of 50 students.

We offer group visit appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 9:15 a.m. or 1:45 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. The visit includes an admission presentation and a guided tour of campus. Visits last approximately 2 hours. If one of the above days and times does not work with your group’s availability, we welcome your group to do a self-guided tour.

Advanced Scheduling

Please contact us at least, three (3) weeks before the desired visit date. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday during the fall and spring semesters. Some dates (Admissions event days, University holidays, fall and spring break, midterm, and finals weeks) will not be available. We are not able to offer Group Visits in the month of April nor during the summer.

Admissions Presentation and Campus Tour

An admissions presentation, led by an admissions counselor, will include Creighton’s history, campus life, academics, admissions, scholarships, and the financial aid process. Time will be available for general questions. This will last about 30 minutes. A walking campus tour will be led by a current Creighton student tour guide.  Please encourage your students to dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes. The tour will include prominent buildings and resources on campus, and will last approximately 1 hour.

Special Requests

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special requests including meals, transportation, special facility tours and overnight accommodations.

If you need to cancel your visit, please let us know at least three (3) days in advance by contacting the Admissions Office at 402-280-2703 or

Chaperones and Reciprocal Respect

Creighton University Admissions Office policy requires groups to provide an adult chaperone for every 15 students visiting campus. We hope to provide your group with a meaningful visit. Creighton is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming community. Chaperones are asked to ensure that their students show the same respect for the university, students, faculty and staff.

Visit Preparation

Please plan to arrive to campus about 15 minutes before scheduled visit time so your group has enough time to park, use the restrooms, etc. Please be prompt so we can provide you with the full Creighton visit experience. Also, our tour guides enjoy when visiting student engage and have thoughtful questions.

Late Arrivals

If you anticipate your group may be late, please call the Admissions Office at 402-280-2703 as soon as possible, so we can plan how we might best be able to accommodate your group.
